Christmas Card Swap

Thought I'd share with you the card I have created for a Christmas Card Swap I am doing with 9 other Demonstrators.
This card is to show you that you don't always have to use Christmas Stamp Sets to make nice Christmas Cards.

I have used the Artistic Etchings and Season of Joy Stamp Sets, Elegant Bouquet Embossing FolderConcord Crush and Very Vanilla Cardstock, Poppy Parade Ink Pad and the Ornamental Extra-Large Punch.

What do you think? Pretty nice hey, and I am really loving trying out the new colours and stamp sets.

If you'd love to make this card yourself, why not contact me and lets get started on your Christmas cards.

Butterfly Scrap Page

Well, I had an absolute ball at Regionals. It was so nice to put faces to the grils I have been chatting with online. My greater team had dinner together afterwards and it was great getting to know them better and sharing ideas and tips.
I swapped all of my 30 cards, so have a lot of inspiration to share with you over the coming weeks.......don't want to spoil it all for you.
I was so inspired today that I did up the 6x6 Scrap Page that we had for Make and Take ( we had 4 different M&T's). If I didn''t talk so much I may have got them done on the day.....bit like now...LOL.
We used the new Textured Cardstock - a difinate must have for our ScrapPages.
Here it is on a 12x12 page.

If you you'd like to make this Scrap Page or another, contact me and let's make a time....

Brisbane Regional Swap Card

We have our Annual Regional Stampin' Up Convention this Saturday in Brisbane where litterally hundreds of Demonstrators meet up for a day of learning new techniques, meeting each other and swapping cards with one another. It is one of the soical events of the year. I am looking forward to going as this will be my first one.

This is the swap card I have designed and I look forward to showing you same of the ones I bring home to gather more inspiration from.

I have used the new "Cherry Cobbler" Cardstock and the new In Colour "Poppy Parade" ink on one of the stamps from the new set "Friends Never Fade". The Whisper White Cardstock has been put through the Big Shot using the "Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder". The ribbon is the new 1/4" Grosgrain "Early Espresso". I just love how the colours compliment one another and that the cardstocks match the inks to give it a lovely rich look.

If you'd love to make this card, or check out the new colours yourself, conatct me and I'd be happy to show you and your friends how to create your own.

The new Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder can be use in a variety of ways.
Here I have used So Saffron and Certainly Celery ink using the sponge dabbers to give the texture some colour.
I have also used the new Fancy Flower Punch to create a lovely Suede look flower.
I have left off any sentiments as I will stamp that on the page I have attached to the inside of the card when I am ready.
