Mini Gift Bag

How gorgeous does this little Gift Bag look !!!

This is a Keeper that will be under our Christmas Tree with my name on it!!

I absolutely love the Christmas Cocoa DSP. Such a shame it is only available as a Bundle with the Welcome Christmas Stamp Set.  You can't tell from the photo, but this DSP has a Flocked pattern on it. Feels like velvet when you run your fingers over the design. You get two of these 12x12 sheets in the pack. And doesn't it just co-ordinate wonderfully with the Real Red Satin Ribbon.

Don't forget the Dress Up Christmas Promotion ends 30th November (yes, it really does end in two days !!)

Envelope Gift Bags

The idea here is to take one envelope, and make two gift bags.

Not the best photo, but hard to get the handle to stay up by itself. I used the Sleigh Bells Ribbon as it's a nice thick type ribbon. (Only 3 days left to get that free in the Dress Up Christmas Promotion)
My son is giving this to my daughter with her Christmas present inside. A velcro dot holds the flap down, making it just like a handbag.

This uses the top part of the envelope that you cut off. Why throw it away when you can create a cute bag.
You could put in in the middle of the Christmas table to put the Cracker ends, candy cane wrappers and of course the chocolate wrappers in.

Hope you like them.

Christams Ornaments

I decided I had better get around to creating some christmas items for my own family ..... so I started with these ornaments for the tree... I am personalising them so everyone has their own decoration.

Hopefully the Ornamental Punch will be available to purchase again soon as it is turning into such a versitile must have punch. So glad I bought mine when I did.

Those with a keen eye will notice something new.....I have used a product from the new Summer Mini catalogue which starts in just over a week - December 1st.

If you haven't let me know yet, email me for your copy of the Mini.
I am putting them in the post on Friday so you should all have them Monday ready to place orders from Wednesday when it starts.

Illuminaires

Now this is something else we can do with our Cardstock, Punches and Big Shot Machines.

This one is 6 x 5 inches, so is a rather decent size, but you can make them smaller to use our Punches with quite easily.

Add a tealight and how amazing does this look ..... even Hubby was impressed !!!!!

Why not make some for the Christmas table and WOW your family.

Candy Cane Holders

You will have to excuse the photo - taken tonight, hence the shadow.

Aren't these Candy Cane Holders just devine...... I made these up for my Daughter to give to her BEST friends (aren't 9 yr olds funny - all of a sudden she has hundreds of BEST friends I have never heard of - now she has to narrow it down to 12 !!!)

What a great use for the new Sparkly and Bright Stamp Set - I am loving the versatility of this set.
And yes, that is the two Ribbons from the Mistletoe Pack from the Dress Up Christmas promotion.

How are your Christmas Gifts coming along?

Chocolate Santa Cards

OK, so Christmas is about Giving and enjoying chocolate, oops, I mean family.
And what family member does not love chocolate ?????

I have seen various cards like these with Freddo Frog's in them, and decided to have a go with Santa (any excuse to buy chocolate...LOL).
I am quite happy with how they turned out and the kids have tried to railroad me into giving them one already.

I have used stamps from Delightful Decorations and our Ornamental Punch, and the sentiment from Contempo Christmas.

Sweet Gift Card

These are the ideal gift to give just about anyone - I have made the smaller one and put Mentos in it as a gift for the children in the house. Imagine the looks when they see this on the empty plate from Santa as a thank you !!!!

It's a shame my two are too old for the Santa excitement. But look out if you have me as your Secret Santa this year because I am crafting up a sweet storm.....

Can you tell what SU products I used ?????

I used the new Cherry Cobbler cardstock and Ink Pad (such a fab colour for Christmas), Certainly Celery cardstock, Jolly Holiday DSP, Contempo Christmas, Sparkly & Bright and Perfect Punches Stamp Sets.
And of course my punches - XL Scallop Circle, 3/4 Circle, XL Round Tab and Designer Label.

Contact me if you'd like a class to make one yourself.

40 Chocolate Flowers

What have I been up to lately???

Well, apart from doing up the Folders for a friends Playgroup, I have also made up 40 Chocolate Flowers for one of my Mother's groups upcoming Christmas Lunches. There are 40 of them - Men and Women - so everyone will have one placed at their setting on the table instead of place cards.

I have used a combination of New Christmas DSP and retired DSP as I wanted both the Christmas colours and also party colours. I think I got the balance just right.

What a lovely touch it will be, and no-one is expecting it - only wish I was there to see their looks.

Top Notes for folders

Here are the other three designs I created for the Playgroup Handout Folders.

Owl Punch and branch from Two-Step Bird Punch

For You

Two-Step Bird Punch

I have used the Champagne Mist and also the Pearls and Rhinestones from the Jewels Basic range.

These are placed on the front centre of the clear letter folders and just add that special touch, so much nicer than a manila folder with your child's name on the front.

I must say, my favourite is the Shimmering Bambi from an earlier post, followed by the Owl.
I certainly hope the ladies love their folders and feel special when they receive them.
I know I would - certainly beats the manila folder I got my info in years ago.

If you are interested in making your own, or would like to know about them, contact me today.

Baby Wipe Technique

I know I showed you the masking technique before using this stamp set - Party This Way, but what do you think of the rainbow type effect by using the Baby Wipe Technique and the same stamp set?
I love the look and you can get so many combo's happening so every card is different.
The second card also uses the funky monkey and fox from the Fox & Friends set.

If you'd like to know more on this technique, or would like to order these sets, contact me today.

Bambi Shimmer Paint

I have used the new Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint, and doesn't it just shimmer (LOL), trust me, it really does.
I stamped Bambi from the Forest Friends Stamp Set using Crumb Cake, and then again with the Champagne Mist and the help of the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. I have also used the In Color Markers to highlight the buds and add some soft highlights.
I am really happy with how it has turned out - these will be going onto clear folders to be handed out as information folders for a local Playgroup. I have been asked to make 18 of these, so I have come up with 4 different designs, of which I shall share with you.

If you'd love to see how Shimmery these really are, contact me and I'd be happy to show you.

Sparkly Christmas Card

Ok, just to show you not all my Christmas Cards, gifts this year have the ornamental punch involved, I have created this card using an old set Loads of Love, with a new set Sparkly & Bright.
I have of course used a punch (LOL) cause you know I love them and am happy to show you different ways to use them. (let me know if you have different uses). So the one used here is the new Scallop Trim Corner Punch.

Did you notice Santa's BLING, just had to give him a Rhinestone Jewel as a pompom! SHHHH, don't tell him that's Blushing Bride on the car (hehehe), one for the girls, as it doesn't have to be red and green ALL the time.

Dust off the old Stamps Sets and show me what you come up with......

This is my Make & Take Card for November, so book a date and all us girls can have a pink card !!
