Secret Santa I Sent .....

As mentioned in my last post, I participated in our Team's Secret Santa - now seeing as I am no longer a Secret Santa anymore, as promised, here is what I made for Genelle ....

Genelle's 3 Stampin' Up! Colours were Blushing Bride, Marina Mist and Early Espresso, so I attempted to keep to this colour scheme throughout - I think they work very well together!
1st week we had to send an anonymous card or small gift.

Punch Art - Busty Lady thanks to the Talented Julia Leece

Wasn't sure if I should write inside, so just stamped a page instead.

2nd week we had to send an anonymous card or small gift.

Here I used a small Gold bag and converted into a lovely Gift Bag
with some chocolates inside for my small gift..

3rd week (to put under her tree) was a gift under $30.00 from the list of 5 things on her Wish List so I know she loved it!

I made this to the size of the Clear Mount Stamp Set as that is exactly what I put inside.
A removable gift tag and good to go.

Ok, so the Christmas Card isn't in her colours, but it is a Christmas Card and I think she will forgive me....LOL

I hope you enjoyed looking at them and may be a little inspired to make them yourself.

Until next time, Happy Crafting....YCB

Sceret Santa 2010 Gifts Recieved

I participated in our Team's Secret Santa - the only reason I know who mine is, is because she told me with my third parcel. What a talented lady Christina French  is. If you live in the Cairns region and don't already have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Christina would be happy to hear from you.

Here are the pressies Christina surprised me with:

1st week we had to send an anonymous card or small gift.
The Red Shoe is a note pad with a mirror - very handy in my bag.
The gift bag had skittles in it - Yummy.

2nd week we had to send an anonymous card or small gift.
Gift bag using the Top Note Bigz Die straight on the Jolly Holiday DSP.
Rich Razzleberry Marker - one of my 3 favourite colours - love it.
A Gingerbread Tree - Yummy - very talented papercrafter and cook !!

3rd week (to put under our tree) we sent a gift under $30.00 - to make it easy, we all gave a list of 5 things on our Wish List!
Grunge Rock stamp set from the new Mini Catty - can't wait to use this !!!
How nice is this Christmas Card - I can see me making this as well.

As you can see, I was very spoilt - Christina is a very Talented Lady, and I have to thank her very much for my gifts - I love them all and will be casing the gift bag and Card next year for sure.

I will show you in a few days what I made for my SS Lady - once I know for sure that she knows it was me...LOL...I really enjoyed being involved and look forward to next year's.

Reindeer Gift Card Bag

I have seen this little guy popping up on everything, so me being me, just had to make one.

Once made, I had to decide what to put him on ??????

I just love how my Gift Card Bag turned out using the Flocked DSP from the Christmas Cocoa DSP pack  so thought I'd try using the Jolly Holiday DSP - new to the 2010-20111 Catalogue.

What do you think?
I love how Stampin' Up! products co-ordinate together so well.
The Red Rhinestone Brads from the Square Fire Rhinestone Brads pack go so well with the Real Red 5/8 Satin Ribbon.

Swap the Reindeer for the Easter Bunny, and you have your Easter Treat Bag sorted.

They are some more prizes for Christmas Day's Bowl's game - any leftovers shall be mine...hehehe, now that's my kinda leftovers!

Whatever you do this Christmas Day, may you all have fun and enjoy your time with loved ones.

Reindeer Paddles

I still have some Christmas Gifts to make, and while I was making these Smartie Skinny Bags for prizes on Christmas Day (lawn bowls at my Aunt's - that should be fun....), I came up with these Reindeer Paddles - perfect for the little people in our lives to leave out so Santa can guide his sleigh to a perfect landing on Christmas Eve and ensure presents are left.

Now to do it right, you need a red and green - I had a some fun with my daughter as we tried them out in the lounge......LOL.....she loved them as much as me.

I hope I have given you all some inspiration to make some different gifts this year.
I have had a ball making my little treats - I intend to have a class next year with some of these and other ideas.

I'd love to see your creations.

Look what we have been doing over at Crafters Anonymous ....... We had an Online Christmas Class with Tia tonight, which was making this gorgeous Christmas Tree Decoration.

Ok ...LOL....so just imagine it's straight !!!! and yes, that is the Christmas Cocoa DSP from last months promotion. Sad to say I have almost finished my pack off.
Time permitting, I will make another (with abit more time to do it) and show you I can make them straight....

6 Pack Carrier & M&M's Skinny Tubes

With Christmas just around the corner, and Lunch being at our house this year, but not as many as last year.
I decided to make these M&M Skinny Tubes and the handy 6 Pack Carrier to put them in. The 6 Pack Carrier was designed by the very talented Sue Berker.

Hard to tell from the picture, but it has another three on the other side. I have used Kiwi Kiss (retired), Real Red, and Whisper White Cardstock, Real Red Satin Ribbon and the gorgeous Flocked DSP from the recent Christmas promotion we had.

The initials are from the new Monogram Sweet Stamp Set and I made one for each place setting.
The M&M's are the Crispy Mint ones - my version of an After Dinner Mint....LOL.. they are nice (had to eat the leftover ones..)

DVD Christmas Gift Box with Bellyband

Ok, while I had the retired Sweet Slumber Speciality DSP out, I thought this sheet was in the Christmas spirit of things. How easy are these boxes - I popped the T-Shirt I bought my husband for Christmas in it and it looks fantastic under the tree with the kids pressies.

Crafters Anonymous Fortnightly Challenge

As part of the Crafters Anonymous Group, We have a Challenge every other Sunday - This lasts for two weeks and the previous winner gets to decide what we make. Janet has decided on this fortnights effort.
As I am new to this group, this is my first challenge !!!!

The challenge is to create something – any medium – using 2 items in your stash that you haven’t used in a long time. Something that you thought you should give or throw away.

I have made my son this envelope bag and put his present from his sister in it.
I have used some old Red Riding Hood Ribbon (Retired) with the bag topper being made from the DSP I got with my kit or soon after (can't remember......) - Sweet Slumber Speciality (Retired).
To get the nice edging on the bag topper, I used the Curly Label XL Punch - seriously, where would I be without my punches !!!!

If you'd like to join the group - send me an email and I can forward your details for an invitation - you can be interested in any form of craft - cooking, sewing, paper craft, doll making, etc.

Male Theme Card Swap

I organised a Male Theme Card Swap with 12 other Stampin' Up! demonstrators across Australia.
I must say, there are some wonderful idea's that have come from this swap - I would never have thought of using the Stamp Sets or techniques used. We had an open theme - only rules being that it was made with Stampin' Up! product and it was intended for a Male!

After a bit of effort, and changing my mind three times, I ended up making a Male Sympathy Card using the new Every Moment Stamp Set (yes, again, the one I said I was not fussed on....LOL...just goes to show you).

Project Recipe:
Stamp Sets: Every Moment, I Care (Hostess Level 1)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Markers - Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz
Paper: Natural Ivory, Cherry Cobbler

Christmas Owl House

I made this little Owl House up and got the owl into the Christmas Spirit, even dabbed on some snow on his house (mind you, we don't get that at all in my part of Australia !!) Maybe should have put up a little fan and the BBQ in front...

This one I did up for my mum as she has snowmen and snow women all around her living room - thought he would blend in more - and guess what??? he does.

Is it just me or does that owl look like he is glaring up at his hat????? LOL, I better ring mum up and ask her.....reminds me of my daughter rolling her eyes at me.

Better go and finish off my Secret Santa goodies - I will show you in the New Year (once she has worked out it was me...LOL).

Rudolph's Red Nose Kits

Not long until Christmas now.....

I made up these little Rudolph Red Nose Kit's for the younger children of friends I know. I decided to do the Raspberries/Strawberry & Cream for the toddlers as it would be less messy and less chance of choking than on the Jaffa's. So far I think the parents have liked them more.......

Anyway, I hope your Christmas ideas and plans are well under way. I have just a few more to make and then I can sit and back and relax a little (I think !!).
