Easter Milk Carton

OMG, what a lot of fun we had with our Online Class at Crafters Anonymous tonight, and hosted by Jane McGlade Smith.
I must say, most of the fun is in not knowing what we are making until the class, and as the project comes together.
This milk carton is just the best size and I can see me making plenty more of these for Easter this year.

I have had Easter meet Paris with this one by using the Artistic Etchings Stamp Set and the new Easter Blossoms Stamp Set from the Current Summer Mini Catalogue.

Not placed your order yet?? Remember only one more month to go with both the Summer Mini and Sale-A-Bration Catalogues.

February Scrap Page

As you know, I joined the 12 Months of 2011 Scrap Page group at Crafters Anonymous, and as February is nearly over for another year, thought I had better do my page.

Only 2 events of significance occurred in our family this month, and both involved Laura.

Laura started rehearsals with the Australian Youth Choir on the 10th and also went to School Camp on the 22nd.
This is the page I created for camp.
I used the Elements of Style and also the new Notes and Details Stamp Sets, with Blushing Bride and So Saffron Cardstock and inks.
The DSP used is from Love Letter, which you can see co-ordinates with the Elements of Style Stamp set perfectly.

I love how it  has turned out. It really does look better in real life as the camera doesn't pick up the stamps along the bottom.

Bliss Card

Having a little play with my Bliss Stamp Set last night, I thought I would show you how you can change the appearance of a card or scrap page for that matter, with just a small change - some people know this as "Stepping Up".

The top card is a plain layered card.
The bottom card has had the two layers distressed.

I must say, I do prefer the distressed card. Either way you like it, isn't that Bliss Stamp Set just great.

This stamp set is so versatile, and looks great on Scrap Pages too.

Don't forget you can get this set for FREE while Sale-A-Bration is on and then it is instantly retired.
So send me an email with your order details (minimum $100.00 before postage) before 31st March, and you can be creating gorgeous cards and Scrap Pages too.

Crafters Anonymous Fortnightly Challenge

This fortnight's challenge at Crafters Anonymous is to make a Calendar.

Don't you just love the chance (or excuse) to make something that has been on your "to make list" for awhile, but always found something else to make instead - I'm sure you know the feeling.

I had downloaded this tutorial by Rosemarie Diehl awhile ago and when this Challenge was posted, knew now was my chance.

Here is my entry:

I have used the new In Colours with both the cardstock and the exclusive DSP papers you can only get as a Hostess. Also, I have used the Flourish Stamp from the Bliss Sale-A-Bration set you can get for FREE when you place an order for $100 or more before 31st March.

Suitcase Box

While blog hopping last night, I came across the gorgeous suitcase that Kerry had made - so like her, I made one too as per my previous post, I am in the middle of Birthday presents - Step-Father turning 70 and the next day my daughter turns 10.

It holds 6 Rocher's and being a lover of chocolate, just happened to have some on hand.
I used the Owl stamp from the SAB Punch Bunch Set and the Two-Step Owl Punch. The tags from the Tiny Tags Set with the Jewerly Tag Punch.  Gotta love stamps that have co-ordinating punches !!!

Check out Kerry's suitcases here.

And here is the link for Margit's blog to get the project.

Hello Kitty Punch Art Journal

Thought I'd show you the Punch Art Journal I have started.

Apart from the Journal ( Big Thanks to Janet !!), and the Hello Kitty, the rest is all Stampin' Up!.
I am so amazed at how close Pretty In Pink cardstock is to the pink of the journal - you can just see the spline. Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie are the other main colours used.

I now have no excuse not to document my punch art for ease of showing how versatile our punches are - and you all know how I love my punches !!!
I plan on having a Punch Art class in May, so you will all get to have a look at it then.

Easter Skinny Tubes

Here are the Skinny Tubes I mentioned earlier in the week.........................

I put them in the Fancy Favor box with the girl from the Easter Blossoms Stamp Set from the Summer Mini and the saying from the Just Believe Stamp Set.  Ink used on the Crumb Cake cardstock is one of the new In Colours - Pear Pizzazz.
Just as nice with easter bunny chocolates or M&M's.

Easter Chocolate Holders

I can't believe I have started on Easter chocolates already......I have 15 of these to make for a play group and another 15 of the skinny tubes.

I found these on Dawn Griffith's blog. She made them back in 2008, but I think they are still great for 2011.
I have used the Easter Greeting from the New Stamp Set Well Scripted, and I left off the bow.

I will post a picture of the skinny tubes later in the week.

Bigz Flower Folds Die

How to recycle your empty soft drink cans and milk bottles into useful and different presents.
Helps to have a willing helper .... Aka step dad Geoff and mum to make morning tea.

The bottom right plastic one is to hold a chocie or lolly - only we didn't have any.......so next best thing...Chezzel .....LOL.

How cool do they look - and helping the environment as well.
The pictures aren't the best, so I will take some more in the next day or so and post.

These were created by the very talented Nicole Derendorf for one of the Tutorials on the We Stamp for Lara site. I have only just got my Flower Folds Bigz Die to enable me to try my hand at them.

Want to make your own ??? Contact me today to book a workshop.
