ATC - Friendship Quotes

The theme for this round's ATC Swap at Soul Scrappers is Friendship Quotes.

Here's the ATC I created.

The quote is from a card that Kerry Bunting created which I thought was a wonderful saying.

Just Because Tea Bag Holders

These Tea Bag Holders are so quick and easy to make - all you need is a piece of 11" x 3 1/4" cardstock and your scoring tool and you are set.

I have used one of the framelits to have a window showing the tea bag but you can easily leave them blank and pop an embellishment on the front.

I have used the same greeting but mounted them two different ways.

This one has the tag loose and is held in place with the bakers twine.

This one I have adhered the tag onto the flap with stampin dimensionals
and threaded the bakers twine underneath.

There are two tea bags in each one and the colours are Cherry Cobbler and Island Indigo which I think work well together.

ATW4 Memories

Karen has us going around the world with our scrap layouts at Soul Scrappers.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to participate in the previous 3 months challenges as I haven't had the time - I know, what do I do with myself, and considering my layouts are usually pretty simple who would think I couldn't do it!

Anyway, I decided this month I would definitely find the time, and so off to India I went!

I took inspiration from one of the pictures Karen provided which basically was a silhouette of a lady in a yoga position.

Here's my entry into the challenge.....

This is from our holidays on the Gold Coast a few years back.....instead of hmmmmmmm being muttered, it was Argghhhhhhh as the cold waves hit them.

SGD1 Summer Vacation

Last month at Soul Scrappers we had a one of our members be our Guest Designer.
Mitzi came up with a great challenge and here is my entry I submitted.

It's a simple layout, but my focus on this was the photo's and I think I have succeeded with this.

Baby Themed Card Swap

The Card Swap this time round at Soul Scrappers was a Baby Theme.

Here is the card I created for the swap using some punch art.

I choose the Wisteria Wonder as the main focus and feel that this card is suitable for both boys and girls.

Sealed with a Kiss Altered Tin

As you know, at Soul Scrappers my Card Challenge at the moment is for them to create a card using the scraps they find on their craft desk......so after I made my card to inspire them with, I then altered this tin with more from my scrap stash......

The sentiment inside the bottle top is"Sealed with a kiss" from the promotional set Sent with Love.
Unfortunately once the crystal effects had dried, you can barely see it, but them I thought that was ok too as I gave the tin to my husband and he said he preferred it this way...... LOL!

I am making a few more of these tins as Welcome gifts to those who join my Team during the next 6 weeks while the extra special $60 free products promo is going. So if that is you still undecided, never been a better time to join up and take advantage of the continued discount and get to see the new catalogue early - not to mention getting the new products early too. No matter where in Australia you live, I will sent off your special Welcome tin with some goodies inside to welcome you.

CC15 Using Scrap

Another month and another Card Challenge at Soul Scrappers for me to give.

This time I have decided to challenge everyone to use those scraps they have laying around their desks!

I had a mini clean up - only about 1/4 of my desk - basically what was in front of me, and here is what I came up with to start me on my way!!!!!!!

Not all of it is Stampin' Up!, but majority of it is.

Now all I had to add was a card base and a sentiment and here is what I created.

I think it turned out great and I know for sure that if I started from scratch, this card would not have been created.

Now to create my next project as I have heaps left and 3/4 of my desk to discover!

Twisted Fold Gift Card Holders

I have seen a few of these Gift Card Holders on various blogs so decided it was something I should have a go at.

This one uses a cardstock base with the DSP cut slightly shorter to have a layering effect
(great for Fathers Day)

This one shows you using just the DSP and adding an insert into the front flap.
 (great for Mothers Day)

And here is inside with a tag for the gift card

CSI No.66 - Hysterical

I had some fun with the new CSI Challenge No.66.
Why not have a go with me, you have until Sunday night to submit.

Here's the Case File we follow

And here's my submission:

I believe I used the Scheme of 5 colours.
Evidence was arrows, plaid pattern, hearts, plain white background.
Testimony was Journaling as a postcard, in my own handwriting and something humorous.

I really enjoyed this and just love the concept of these that I am sure I will doing more of them.

Unfortunately for Bee Jay this one was at his expense!!!!

Debbi made a special Case File just for Soul Scrappers !!!!

ESAD Seasonal Catalogue Blog Hop 2013

Welcome to my new visitors making their way around the ESAD Seasonal Catalogue Blog Hop....LOL, I am stop No.24 of 25, so well done if you have made it this far!

What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin' Up! demonstrators.

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyberstamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed.

So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

Ok, so if you are making your way through the blogs, you may have just joined me from Kelli and her wonderful projects using Parkers Pattern DSP.

I am going to share with you some projects I created using the That's The Ticket Stamp Set and also the Print Poetry DSP Stack.

First up I have made a 12 x 12 layout using the Admit One stamp from the set and also made a pinwheel and banner tails from the Print Poetry DSP.

Next, I made a clean and simple Christmas Card (getting in early!) with the Christmas Wishes stamp.

Here are some cute little treat bags using one sheet from the Print Poetry DSP stack and adding various tickets from the stamp set.

This 4 x 4 card is punching the Print Poetry DSP Stack into 1" squares and rounding 3 corners.

This 4 x 4 card is punching the Print Poetry DSP Stack sheet into 1" squares and rounding only 2 corners and only 1 layer of cardstock - similar cards but two different looks.
.

This next card is using the honeycomb embossing folder and cutting the hexagon's out using the Print Poetry DSP Stack.

I sure hope I have inspired you with my projects, and your next stop is with Amity who is using the Make A Wish Stamp Set.

Leave a comment and let me know what you think - did I inspire you?

Pop ‘n Cuts Male Treat Box

How clever was Tanya Bell to come up with this gorgeous treat box using the new Pop N Cut's Die!

I have used the retired Well Worn DSP and think it looks great as a Male Treat Gift Box - all set for hubby's birthday in a few months!

I can see me making more of these boxes for Fathers Day!
These are quite easy to make and are another great way to use up your retired DSP to make room for the new ones come July 1!
