Work Colleague gifts 2014

Well the Christmas Parties have started!

As such, this year I decided I was going to give Handmade Gifts as well as the usual card this year.

So off to pintrest I went, and bugger me, I found a lady who actually got out her sewing machine and embroidered this saying on a roll of toilet paper!!!!

Well, I'm not that clever, but I did get out my Gift Box Board and made a box and some tags and created my own little gift.

Guess what my work colleagues are getting this year!

Our friends from the Greyhounds party loved theirs, and I'll show you the other couple of gifts I made them next time.

Thanks for looking,

Until next time, Happy Crafting....YCB

Greyhound Christmas 2014

It's that time of year again when a group of us who adopted ex racing greyhounds have our Christmas get together.

I always make up little gifts for Bee Jay's pal's and here is this years'.

I think they look awesome! I had some Santa Washing ribbon from a few years back that works so well with the "Get Your Santa On" stamp set.

I hope you treat your pets to some nice treats and packaging this year!

Forever & Always

I was asked to make up a card for a friend's husband - you know, lovely dovey type thing.
Any specific colours? No, How about red and white? Oh that sounds good, oh and maybe a touch of purple would be nice? Sure.

LOL, oh, and could I have it tomorrow morning?

Ok - so with that, here are the 2 cards I made - yes 2 as I always like to give a bit of choice when I get slightly vague directions.

The winner with a splash of Elegant Eggplant......(I know, it looks black right!)

however this one was my preferred card of choice......

Colour combination is Real Red, Smoky Slate and Whisper White, with the first one also having Elegant Eggplant.

Christmas Gift Tag 2014

Using my Copic's and  Julie Nutting stamps, I made this tag for my daughters Christmas gift this year.

Not too sure if it needs something else on it, and as I couldn't decide, decided to leave as is.

Merry Christmas Wreath 2014

I enjoyed my weekend off by making some Christmas items for our home this year.

Here's the gorgeous wreath I made after being inspired by Angie at Chic' n Scratch.

Super cute and sparkly too!

I used some retired Christmas papers, Ribbon and Sizzlets and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Love it!

I posted the Mistletoe wall plaque and Make Good Cheer canvas on my Facebook Page over the weekend as I made them.

End of School Treats

My goodness, how quickly this year has gone by!!!!

Can't believe my baby boy has one week of High School left - wowers, 12 years of schooling gone in the blink of an eye!

On that note though, my baby girl is about to finish her first year of High School......4 more to go!

I thought I'd show you some treats I made up for her girlfriends - no, not cool for the boys to give gifts......

 And the winner was:

Sparkly and Bright!!!!

Christmas Twinchie's

Our November Twinchie Swap got combined with December and we were asked to make 6 of them with any colour/theme we wanted.

I decided to get out all my Christmas Stamp Sets - old and new, and play with what I had.

I love the outcome and made myself a set which I mounted onto a Cherry Cobbler mat and put in a 5 x 7 Shadow box ready for Christmas.

My set has a Baked Brown Sugar and smaller Garden Green mat to them.
My swapper's set I alternated with the three colours.

Here's mine in it's frame.

I admit I did stress a little with having to make 6 within a theme, even though I got to decide that for myself.
Anyway, I hope she loves them as much as I do!

Wow, the last week of the Blog Hop already!

My last project is using the Seasonally Scattered stamp set and of course I had to make one card using my chosen product - the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.

I used the FREE Good Greetings stamp set from September/October promotion on the bottom right as well.

Aren't they gorgeous! Red and White together are always great. Add a bit of embossing for the background and it's so easy to get a stunning looking card.

May I suggest you open a Word Document and copy the list over onto it so that you can add your answer to each one - that way you won't miss any....... THIS IS THE LAST WEEK!
If you live in Australia and have all your answers, send me an email and attach your list to be entered into the draw. It really is that easy! You have until November 15th to have your list to me.

Blended Bloom Thank You

Here's a card I made a few weeks back, LOL when I had some time on my hands and had a play with my Blendabilities.
I've used my Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight Blendabilities on the Blended Bloom flower.
I also used an off cut from my Floral Framelits and attached to the front of the Whisper White Card base. The Blend Bloom flower is popped on using Stampin Dimensionals to help lift it a bit.

It's such a great focal flower by itself.

Shalom Mini Coffee Cups

I told you the other week that I was making some mini coffee cups for Hanukkah, and here they are.

Again I have used retired items - stamp set and paper, and I have also used my Ecutter to cut the stamped images. Cuts way better than I could do with my paper snips!

I made 6 of these Easel Tea Light Cards using the new Happy Hanukkah stamp set and retired Midnight Muse card stock and retired snowflake embellishment.

They are a fiddly card and not one that I would have a beginner make in a class.
One on one class would be ok.

I truly love Midnight Muse and made sure I ordered a few packs of card stock before it retired.
But alas, I only got the one package of the lovely snowflakes so have picked wisely the projects to use them on.
