Happy Easter Treat Tag

Here's a gorgeous Easter tag I made to pop onto some Easter treats I found at Coles.

I've used Jaded Blossom's Spring Die 2 for the Butterfly with the Treat Tag Die and saying from Spring Signs stamp set. The Washi tape background is from the new Animal Prints Designer Tapes stamp set.
I am loving my JB products!

Thanks for looking,

Goodness, I do not know why the wording on this post is all over the place!!!!!! The Easter bunny must be annoyed that I am organised early this year!

Until next time, Happy Crafting....YCB

Washi Tape Card

Now here is a craze going around at the moment - Washi Tape Card fronts.

I've used 3 different washi tapes to create the card front for this card.

I used the saying "wishing you courage against cancer" from the Jaded Blossom Fight For A Cure set.
It seems we all know someone who is fighting this disease, sadly I know 2 lovely ladies currently fighting the fight and I am hoping to bring a  smile to their day with this simple card.

PLxSU MYC14 Best Day Ever

This month's MYC challenge over at Soul Scrappers is to create a page about your pet.

I decided to make a Project Life page as I have had everything to create one for probably over a year(?) but haven't!!!

Now of course I would have to do my page on our sooky la la Bee Jay - he is such a special Greyhound and so loving and gentle........well, when he's not excited when you first get home, or thinks he's going for a walk that is, then it's vital you watch out for his lethal tail!!!

Now you know I'm not much of a Scrapbooker, and I'll be honest, I don't think you will see many more PL pages from me. While they may be quicker, I do prefer the good old paper, glue and photo's as you really can add dimension, texture and the like.

Anyway, having said that, I'm pleased with Bee Jays page.

Jelly Bean Prayer Treats 2015

I have started with Easter Treats as the time is going by so quickly already!

This year I have made some Jelly Bean Prayer Treats in a tube and some bookmarks as well.

You can't see it, but the stamp on top of the lid says "He is Risen".

I used Jaded Blossom stamps and die set for the tags and think they have turned out great.

? Happy Birthday

Here's a fun card I made for one of my Brothers late last year.......a fun way to say "You're How Old?" LOL....I can seeing as I am the youngest of four.

I actually love how this card turned out and when I have the time, I'll make a heap more as it is perfect for the gentlemen in the Nursing Home I work at.

TTT2 - I Love You

I decided to make a card instead of a layout for my entry into Karen's Tic Tac Toe challenge at Soul Scrappers.

The line I chose was 2 Pattern Papers, 2 Hearts and Sticker.

Here's the card I made.

I did have to make a dash to the shops and get a suitable sticker because as you know, I'm a stamper right!

Anyway, I found a nice looking set and used the I Love You one for this project.

Quick Money Holder

Here's a very quick and easy Money / Gift Card Holder to make and give for birthdays.

I found the instructions for this on My Chic'n Scratch blog.

This one's for my daughters birthday in a few weeks time.
One good thing with your children being teenagers, is that it is preferred to give them money/gift cards instead of an actual present as they get to buy what they want and saves you having to take the item back or have it sit in the bottom of the cupboard!

Now to make her a card.

Vintage Valentine ATC

Over at Soul Scrappers the ATC for this round is Vintage Valentine.
Now whilst these don't have to be in Mary's hands until 10th March, I always have mine made and sent early - as it is they should arrive in the states in the next week or so.
I did mail them off 2 weeks ago and I think both our countries postal services could do with a shake up.

I can't wait to see the other 9 ladies creations.
I finally got a chance to use my Calling All Heroes stamp set.

I know that mine will pale into comparison to the other ladies, but having said that, I think Batgirl is rather cute.

Here's a card I made using Julie Nutting's Adara stamp and some SU stamps.

I paper pieced her and her dolls dresses to match.

February Birthday Cards

I thought I'd show you the cards I made for this months Birthday's.

I only had to make 2 this month - one male and one female.

Two simple but effective cards.

Dita Tag

I used Julie Nutting's Dita stamp for this tag, along with some SU stamps.

Still undecided exactly where to pop her.
I'm thinking I might pop her on a gift bag, or even the front of a journal.

Chinese New Year 2015 treats

I found a packet of Lucky Candy for Chinese New Year at my local Coles last week, so as you do, I thought, wow, I could make some great treats this year.
LOL, or as my hubby would say " No, that's just you!"

Anyway, here's what I came up with for a few of my previous resident's I cared for (I have changed work places) and I will be dropping them off tomorrow as I'm pretty busy the next few weeks.
I'm sure they will be ok to put them aside until the 19th.

Gorgeous! I actually had to test 2 of them so that I could use the wrapper for my candy boxes.
No really, don't they just look fabulous! I'm just hoping that that is a nice message on them.....guess I'll find out soon enough!

Ohh, and the large box is for a very lovely lady and the men will get the candy wrapper boxes - only fair really.

FS2S2 Let It Go

Here's a fun page I did for the From Screen 2 Scrap Challenge (FS2S2) at Soul Scrappers this month.

February's inspiration is coming from the Movie Poster FROZEN.

In 1980, our schools Year 8 classes when to Canberra / Smiggens Hole and we had an awesome time......we went from Mount Isa (North West Queensland) to SNOW!!!!
I can tell you I have never, never been so cold and frozen in all my life!
LOL, what a miserable excuse for a snowman.......that thing took me ages just to get it to that stage!
I also recall I just about busted my jaw with that toboggan.
Wowser's - that was over 34 1/2 years ago!!!!

The "Let it Go" heading is from the Frozen Blog Hop I participated in with SVG Cutting Files Facebook group.

Why not come over and join in on the fun and create your own page while have a giggle like me remembering those days. Just click the link above, let me know if you have trouble.

Happy Valentines 2015

Here's a card I made for a Valentine Challenge over at Soul Scrappers.

How cute is he!
I used the V-day Koala cut file from SVG Cutting Files and resized him to fit my card.
LOL, I did move his arms up just a wee bit too - that's what I get for using my memory instead of looking at the screen!
