I also made this card with the idea that a small child could give it to their mother/grandma undergoing treatment.

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Jamberry Nails

So I just had to let you all know that I signed up as a Jamberry Nails Consultant.

Wow, my nails are going to be looking so Jamberlicious!!!!!!!

I have added a link to the side bar for you to pop on over and check it out.

The story of Jamberry Nails begins with three sisters who possess distinct personal tastes, but share a love for style. After an expensive afternoon together at the nail salon, Lyndsey, Christy and Keri vowed to find a simpler, more cost effective way to keep their hands looking polished, while still spending time together.
After lots of trial and error, the proprietary nail wraps of Jamberry Nails launched in late 2010. The DIY, at-home application and incredible variety of designs caught on quickly and sales soared. A new era of nail art was born.
Gone are the days of nails that chip and flake after only a few days! Gone are the days of the single colored manicure. Gone are the mani/pedis that take all afternoon and most of your cash too! Jamberry nail wraps arm you with style and confidence while demanding very little of your time or money.
Join the nail revolution, ladies!
I would love to have you as a customer, or even a part of my team! Ohhhh I do love the begining of new chapters in our journey we call life!

Let me know if you would like a catalogue and a sample to try !!

Thanks for looking,

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

I used the Jaded Blossom's Awareness Candies and Paint Splatters stamp sets to have a collage of words that I am sure a Survivor of any cancer would have used/heard in their journey.

Thanks for looking,

This day's challenge was all about Mosaic Memories.

Here's a back link to my inspiration for my card......
https://www.pinterest.com/pin/542261611362738077/

I loved the circular bursts of colour - LOL I know, nothing like it but the Alcohol ink on the glossy card stock does give a great effect, and sort of mosaic like ???

Here's my next card I made for the Hope You Can Cling To challenge.

This day's challenge was to make a card that required No Extra Postage, and add an image of something postal.

My Panda is a SVG Cut from vinyl so it is as flat as the card so no extra postage needed.

Pretty pleased with how this one turned out - no stamping at all!

HYCCT1508 You Light Up My Life

Here's my next card I made for the Hope You Can Cling To challenge.

This day's challenge was to add some Strength to our pattern paper background.

I just love this Kaisercraft PP - yes, I used it on my Scarecrow Paperscape Box Card.
LOL, I bought a heap of it, so you will be seeing it again!

Anyways, to keep my PP strong, I used a single colour stamp and heat embossed it with SU's Tangerine Tango Emboss Powder, and added some My Mind's Eye Enamel Dots. All on a SU Sahara Sand card base. LOL, just don't look too close at my fussy cutting.

Thanks for looking,

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

This day's challenge was to have a Tag on your card - this is representing those that have a tiny metal tag inserted in the area that the DR has worked on, so that the area would be noted in future imaging.

I am learning a lot more about Breast Cancer through this Challenge as it goes along.

HYCCT1507 Love

(This is a long post, but worth reading to the end for a great cause!)

I found this great Card Drive Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers.

They are in their sixth year, an annual month long card drive to benefit those affected by breast cancer.

"Whether your stamps cling to acrylic, wood, or to your hard drive, they hold the power to convey hope and lift the spirits of anyone who sees what you create with them. That is the inspiration for our “Hope You Can Cling To” stamping campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month."

When we began this event, we kicked this campaign off on World Card Making Day - a day of celebration of the power of a handmade card. The year we began, WCMD was October 1st, and so that is now our official kickoff date each year. We encourage papercrafters across the globe to put their talents to work creating beautiful handmade cards to send to patients and their families at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, and, in the process, turn our gallery pink!

Splitcoaststampers is happy this year to join an Australian partner in addition to MD Anderson for Hope You Can Cling To.
Please welcome the Mater Foundation to this great cause!

So with that in mind - I have decided to join the Challenge - ok, so I'm 11 days late, but we have all month long to get them done - a new challenge added each day.

So bear with me as mine will be out of order......but i am getting them done and come the first week in November, I will have a whole stash of cards to send in to the Mater Foundation!

My card for the HYCCT1507 T.R.A.S.H Challenge.
Using the word TRASH - you need to use an element that begins with each letter - can be Manufacturer, product name, word, etc.

T - Ticket, R - Rose embellishment, A - Arrows, S - SU Card Stock, H - Hardwood stamp (SU).
Loved this challenge - had to put my thinking hat on for sure!

it's a great cause - why not join me in it and bring some smiles to some faces that just may need that little lift!

Thanks for looking,

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Stingy Jack’s Halloween Lantern I with Christmas Panels

Ok, so I just had to make Dreaming Tree's Stingy Jack’s Halloween Lantern I and use the Christmas Panels that you can get for free.

Oh my, this really does look awesome in Real Life !!!!
These hand drawn panels that you print off onto vellum are just stunning and give it a vintage/retro feel. if you don"t like the idea of leaving a panel open for your tea light, you do actually get one that you can pop over. I love the ease of being able to turn the lamp on and off without having to half dismantle my lantern to get to it.

So this one is my favourite so far!
Ohhhhh what to make next!

Thanks for looking,

Until next time, Happy Crafting.
