Have you seen the new event over at Markers! Papers! Digis! Facebook Page?

Image may contain: text

Hop on over and join up if not a member already, otherwise go check out the wonderful sponsors and the different Challenges each is having.

You will see 2 posts from me as I'm on 2 of the Design Teams, lucky you hey!

So today I am here with SheepSki Designs and her wonderful sketch Rocket & Rosie.

For this Challenge we are asking you to do the following:
  • Our theme is Bunnies Rule!!
  • You can use any Rabbit image, but of course we'd love you to use our Rocket & Rosie.
  • Post your card in the album.
Here's my card using the image Rocket & Rosie.

I coloured them up with my Copic markers and decided to use non-traditional Bunny colours, because Bunnies Rule right!
The sentiments is from a retired SU set called Perfectly Penned, as is the patterned paper.
The Rectangle die is a Spellbinders one from the set called Romantic Rectangles Two.

So this event runs for the whole month of May and I hope you can join in and add some great images to your stash!

Don't forget, you can also enter your project in SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog Challenge as well as over at our SheepSki Designs Facebook Page.

So that gives you 3 chances of winning!
Woop Woop, gotta love that!

I'm entering him the following Challenges:

Thanks for looking,

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Enough Reindeer

Time to make another Christmas Card for your stash.

Sadly our new Christmas Challenge Blog Season's Greetings has had to close down, but I thought you may want to see the cute card I came up with for you.

I made an Easel Card using Bugaboo's Puppy - Enough Reindeer image from my files.

The easel card shape is using the biggest die from my Nestabilities Labels One Small die set.
Raspberry Ripple Card stock and Enamel Dots are Stampin Up, white card is X-Press It Blending Card, which I use for all my digital images as I find it's the best for using my Copic Markers with.
I used a couple of retired punches from Stampin Up, as is the stamp set Get Your Santa On that I got the sentiments set I used.

He is very cute! and I have another Christmas card made for my stash!

I am going to enter him in the following Challenges:
  1. The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge # 4
  2. Craftyhazelnuts Christmas Challenge - April
  3. Creative Ladybird Creations # 25
  4. Simply Papercraft # 45

Chillin' Jack Frost!

Remember Thursday's post for the Scrapper's Delights Blog Challenge.

As a reminder so you don't have to go back and look (LOL!) I chose to use Jack Frost Crystal Throne.
Now I made him into an Easel card for you then, but I did mention that this one was full of value!
Did you go check it out? 3 images and 4 snowflakes......ok, so now I'll show you the other two images that I coloured and made into cards as well.

So here he is just sitting around chillin' - No stump or Crystal Throne to be seen!

Here he is sitting on his stump wondering where Winter and his Crystal Throne got to!!!

Actually, of all the 3, this Autumn style one is my favourite -LOL, yes it does help that I was clueless as to who Jack Frost was when I was happily colouring him up! And I am glad about that to as I would have probably stuck to the whole Frozen type theme.

Well, again, I really hope I did inspire you and I'm hoping to see some more Jack Frost's popping up soon!

Don't forget that the Rainy Days Digi 1 image is being used in the Facebook Page's Progressive Challenge this month. We would love you to join in.

I'm entering my Spring theme Jack (2nd card) in the following Challenges:

Happy Birthday Gable Box

Welcome to another Fun~day Friday Challenge at Jo's Scrap Shack.

This week's Challenge:
Starts: Friday, Apr 21st  12:00AM
 Ends:   Friday, Apr 28th 6:00PM
(Eastern USA time)

This week's Sponsors are The Cutting Café and Di's Digi Stamps.

The Cutting Cafe   Di's Digis

I got the chance to play with the Gable Box file from The Cutting Café.

GABLE

As you can see you do get a variety of elements to play with!

I made the larger box using the Happy Birthday Window frame.

I cut the files out using my Silhouette Cameo machine - oh so easy!

The patterned paper is from my stash and the balloon, candle and bow are from Jaded Blossom's Birthday Dies.
I decided to cut the balloon out in plain white so I could colour up with  my Copic Markers to add a bit of flair to the box.

The box itself is 5 1/2" x 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" so it is quite a decent size. The great thing about these files is that you get to resize them and the elements so they are always a perfect fit.

Happy Kamsin

Challenge time again over at SheepSki Designs Facebook Page.

This month I've used the image called Kamsin.

Wow, talk about challenging myself - all that hair!!!
LOL, no one to blame but myself as we get to pick which image we use each month.
Having said that, isn't it great to challenge yourself - the only way  to improve your colouring skill set is to keep colouring.
I am not as scared of this much hair as I was 6 months ago.....not my go to by a long shot, but I am ok, sort of, with it. Still a lot to improve on.

I used my Copic Markers (LOL a lot of different ones this time!) to colour Kamsin up.
Jaded Blossom Stitched Hexagons, Scallop Hexagons and Spring Word Dies used.
That awesome pattern paper is from Imagine That Digis and is a part of the Steampunk Digi Papers pack. This one is called Grunge Eggplant.
Enamel dots from my stash.

Why not challenge yourself today and enter our Facebook Page Challenge - who knows, if you win or place top 3 you could grab Kamsin for yourself for FREE and then join my personal Challenge!

Why wait, pop over to the shop and use my DT Discount Code to save 10% off your images.
SKIANGIE10

Jack Frost Amazing as you!

Time for another Inspiration post over at Scrapper's Delights Blog Challenge.

This time I chose to use Jack Frost Crystal Throne.
It's an older image but a stunner none the less!

I made him into an Easel card - here he is closed.

Ok, so I must admit I did not know who Jack Frost was when I picked this image to colour up and inspire you with......no, I have not seen the movie Frozen, nor do I have the desire to.
So having said that, I googled Jack Frost and saw who he is, then I googled Jack Frost sayings and came up with the one I used. " Enjoy the butterflies of winter. Each as unique and amazing as you!"
Isn't that just an awesome saying to inspire!

Well, I hope I did inspire you and I'm hoping to see some more Jack Frost's popping up soon!
Just so you know, this one is full of value! you get 3 images and 4 snowflakes......yes I did colour the other two up! Do you want to see? I'll show you in a few days - promise!

Don't forget that the Rainy Days Digi 1 image is being used in the Facebook Page's Progressive Challenge this month. We would love you to join in.

Mother Hugs .......

Here's a New Release image from Ericraft Stamps just in time for Mothers Day!

It's called Hugs and you can buy her on sale for only $1.50 (normally $3.50) for a limited time!!!

Isn't she just so sweet!

The sentiment is by Simply B Stamps and is from the set called Mothers Portrait.
I used a Spellbinders die and some lace from my stash.
I know right! Lace!!!!! with enamel dots for centres! I thought it needed a little something but still be subtle.

LOL, my main problem is that I will colour an image, then either die cut it with a small border or see if I have a die to cut as I did this time. But of course then I have to work with that and that is were the fun begins! Yes, I really have a NO plan on colours, papers, etc, and just go with what I end up with. With the stash of crafting goodness I have, I can usually come up with something, I think!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog.

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Music is the prayer......

Ok, here's a different image to use for our next Progressive Challenge over Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps.

I just love seeing what we get and that initial.....what?????? LOL, or is that just me!

Anyway, this cutie is called Country Girl and I decided she needed to be on an easel card.

Excuse the shadow, but isn't she just so sweet and innocent looking!

So after deciding to put her on an easel base, I then searched through my files and also physical stamps to see if I had just the right sentiment to go with her. No sassy sarcasm for this gal!

Seriously, I have 98 separate artist/companies folders in my Digital Stamps/Papers Folder!!!!
hmmmmm lets not count actual images shall we...... well, guess what? Bingo, we have a winner!!
This gorgeous sentiment "Music is the prayer your heart sings" is from the set called Jammin Janey by Imagine That Digistamps.

And I reckon it fits her perfectly!

I am entering her in the following Challenges:
Thanks so much for visiting my blog.

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

Autism Awareness Month

Here's a great image set to use for any card where you want to highlight, or I'm my case, thank someone for the work they have done in raising awareness for your cause - this set is for Autism.

It's by Imagine that Digistamp and is called Autism Awareness Kids.

My card using both images

Coloured with Copic markers and just a nice Clean and Simple design.
The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Fight For A Cure stamp set and I think it goes with it perfectly.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog.

Until next time, Happy Crafting.

#sassypants

Says it all really doesn't it!

How cute is this KennyK Stamps image called Texting Friends.

I enjoyed colouring them up and kept it as a Clean and Simple card.#sassypants is from Jaded Blossoms Sassy Pants stamps set.
I also used Jaded Blossom's Mini Tag Dies and Stitched Circle Die with a retired SU Circle die.

I'm entering them in the following Challenges:

Oddball Stamps DT Call - My Guy

Oh did you see that there is a Design Team Call over at Oddball Stamps by Lizzy Love?

Oooooook then, so I had a look at her stamps that I own and decided to make a card to submit and see how I go!

I used Sally & Charlie (img 155B) which you can get here.

I stuck to my normal simple style as this is me!
Yes I do at times use lace and flowers, a bit of bling, but mainly just clean and simple.

I bought the Summer Project and created that a while back, which I had posted on Facebook.

Love the quirky range Lizzy has available and I really should create with her images that I have more often.....

Anyways, thanks for visiting my blog and I'll let you know how I go!!!!!

Until next time, Happy Crafting.
